Pet Session FAQs
What happens when we book a session?
Once we have the session booked, I like to set up a phone or Skype appointment prior to the session to get to know you and your pets a little, discuss ideas and the location for your session, and what you’d like to get out of the session.
What happens during a typical session?
I like to arrive at the location a little early to scout out possible locations or get ideas for your shoot. During a pet session, I like to take a little bit of time to get to know your pet as well. I then bring in the necessary equipment and get started on the shoot.
How long does a typical session take?
Average sessions take approximately 90 minutes.
Where is a good location for my photography session?
I would recommend somewhere that you feel the most comfortable. A fun destination like a nearby park, downtown, or something as simple as your own home.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our shoot?
If we can’t complete the session due to inclement weather, we will schedule the next day/time that is convenient for both of us.
When will we get to see the images?
Images will be posted online in a proof gallery within 10-15 days from the shoot. Your proof gallery will be available for 30 days for you to order prints and photo products. If you would like to order prints after your proof gallery has been removed, please contact us.
Do I get a copy of the final images?
Our sessions include a disc containing 10 web-optimized and watermarked images of photographer’s choice for your personal use. You will get a written release for the files; however, I do retain the copyright on all photographs. Full-resolution digital negatives are available for purchase separately.
Why should I order my prints/photo products through you?
I make sure that all of your prints, canvases and photo products are optimized and color corrected for printing. All prints are professionally printed on quality paper to ensure that your memories are preserved for a lifetime.
What are my payment options?
We accept credit card payment for your initial session fee and print ordering. Please note that all sessions are subject to Florida state sales tax.
We also accept checks for your initial session fee only. Please note there is a $25 fee for returned checks.
Can we be included in our pet session?
While the primary focus of this session is your four-legged friend, we absolutely welcome you to join in for some of the shots!
How many animals will you photograph in a session?
Our pet session is based around up to 2 animals from the same household. We can accommodate additional animals for $50 each. We want to make sure that each animal in the session gets adequate focus and attention.
Commercial Photography FAQs
How does the product photography process work?
Once you contact us and we have discussed the details for your project, you can either ship the products to our location or drop them off if you are in the greater Orlando area.
On average it takes 7-14 days to shoot the products and have the final edited images completed. This varies depending on the scope of your project and our current workload.
Once we have received final payment, we will ship your products back to you or have you come pick them up. Please note that the client is responsible for shipping charges to and from our location.
How does on-location photography work?
Once you have booked us, we come to your location to shoot your event or project. Proof images are usually ready for viewing within 7-14 days of your event.
I have a very large and heavy product, can you shoot it?
We try to accommodate products of different sizes, but we do have some limitations as to what we can handle. Please contact us if you have a large or oversized product.
What are my payment options?
We accept payment via credit card or check. A deposit of 50% is required at the start of the project. Final payment is due upon completion of the images.
How are my photos delivered?
We post proofs of the edited images upon completion. We deliver the final high-resolution images via digital download once we receive final payment. Your images will be hosted online for 60 days. We also have the option of delivering the final high-resolution images on a disc for an additional fee (sales tax will apply).
