My name is Tom. I’m 28 years old and I live in sunny Orlando, Florida. I started Thomas Pitera Photography in 2007 with my wife and business partner, Erika, as a product photography studio. Since then, we’ve branched out into food and drinks, and most recently, pets!
We have two mini dachshunds at home – Lexie and Logan – and three cats named Ernie, Marty and Daphne. We love animals, so it only seemed natural to start photographing them! Our goal is to capture pets and their emotions in a natural environment.
In addition to my work as a photographer, I hold a degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida and work for The Lens Depot.
In 2012, we started volunteering our time with Pawsitive Shelter Photography, an organization in Central Florida that photographs shelter animals. We go to the shelter every month and have found that it’s an incredibly rewarding, and at times emotionally challenging, experience. There’s nothing better than knowing that a dog or a cat found a forever home thanks to a photo we took! Since then, we’ve also joined HeARTs Speak, which is a nationwide network of likeminded artists and photographers who wish to help animals in need.

Pet Photography
There’s nothing more rewarding to us than capturing special memories for you and your pets! We offer on-location sessions (at your home or the location of your choice) for dogs and cats. Our goal is to capture your pet’s personality, character and emotions.
Product Photography
Quality photography is essential when your customers cannot see your merchandise face-to-face. A combination of photographic expertise and professional-grade equipment can make all the difference in the image you portray. Every client’s needs are different, and Thomas Pitera Photography strives to deliver the best results for the most reasonable prices. A number of factors are considered when preparing an estimate for your project, including the quantity of products, turnaround time, post-processing needs and the complexity of the products and set-up.
On-Location Commercial Photography / Food & Drink Photography
Thomas Pitera Photography serves the Central Florida area, and we will travel to photograph your restaurant, retail store or office in person. We will arrive fully equipped with professional studio lighting, and by coming to you, we can capture the true ambiance of your establishment. On-location shoots vary in price based on location and the complexity of the project.
